Well known Florida artist Carroll Swayze lives and works in a small beach community on the West Coast of Florida where she has been a fixture in the local art scene for over 30 years. Swayze’s search to paint the perfect palm tree has taken her all over the tropical world finding it first in Florida, then in a deserted cove in St Lucia, on an island in South Japan and the latest perfect palm was spotted on Little Cayman. As an avid fisherman, diver and environmentalist, Swayze's passion for the ocean is evident in everything she creates, her subject matter reflects her love of the sea. Swayze’s original acrylic paintings and hand colored etchings are in public and private collections across the globe and she is represented by galleries worldwide.
